A great article from the Daily Mail that I stumbled on today. The article has a series of WW II photographs overlaid on same location in modern day France:

Yes, indeed great pictures but the research done by the Daily Mail leaves a lot to be desired...

 

These flea-market found pictures have been around for many years and several have been published in different books...

Reminds me of the NEW Eindhoven pictures they published a couple of weeks ago...

Most collectors had seen them before and they were published in De Trez' book which was published just before the article was printed... Makes you think...

Patrick did an excellent job and no-doubt spent many hours in research putting his "then and now" photos together.
