Although the Daily Mail gets a lot of heat for many of their crazier stories, there isn't a week that goes by with at least one brilliant article such as this.

Yes, indeed great pictures but the research done by the Daily Mail leaves a lot to be desired...

 

These flea-market found pictures have been around for many years and several have been published in different books...

Reminds me of the NEW Eindhoven pictures they published a couple of weeks ago...

Most collectors had seen them before and they were published in De Trez' book which was published just before the article was printed... Makes you think... :rolleyes:

Patrick did an excellent job and no-doubt spent many hours in research putting his "then and now" photos together. I went with him a few years ago in November trying to find some spots in and around St Sauver, on our way back from Mortain. You can see many more photos on his: www.6juin1944.com .
