I let the curator know we had posted an article about the museum, and he responded with the following offer:

I love small local museums like this. I call it "Bootstraps history" because these types of museum don't have the huge budgets and professional staff of so many of the "national" museums, but they have a spirit and a love of the subject that I find lacking in the large modern "interpretive" museums. This is a fantastic local museum that I will visit if I come through.
