24th_infantry Posted October 14, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2012 I found a nice WWII westinghouse liner. The liner itself is in great condition but the webbing is shot. I can get the liner for about 25 bucks but is it really worth restoring? I have no idea how long it will take to store nor do I know which store sells the best looking webbing for the job. Nice thing is that the liner has the soldier's name in it from WWII and then another name from a soldier in Korean War. Attached are pics of the liner. Any help would be appreciated. Baron3-6 Posted October 15, 2012 Share #3 Posted October 15, 2012 Not sure I would go $25...there is another thread on here somewhere that talks about how much time/effort it takes to rebuild one, and then you're still stuck with a 50% original liner....if you're wanting it to re-enact in that'd be perfect though. You're probably looking at at least $50 to re-do it all...and thats scouting for things on the cheap....not sure if the completed liner would be worth what was put into it.
