here is a recent pickup that originated in England.  I liked the photo contrast of "Red and Reba".  Unless she was super tall and he really short; she appears to be sitting on his lap.  Seems risqué for the time.

Looks like she's sitting on the arm of the chair or a stool. Great photo.  She looks confident and he looks like a deer in the headlights!

Yes it is, and I also make out a  European civil affairs patch on the man on the left in that photo.

Carmen Tabor passed a few months back in January, she was 98. Bob her husband, real first name Marion passed in January 2017, at 93.

I would venture to say this is a 1930s portrait here in America, as we see the White Shirt and Black Tie, and the lady, yes she's got that 30s Hairdoo.

Latest find today, nice couple, The Greatest Generation! Four bars hanging off of an Expert Qualification badge and Artillery or possible Coastal Artillery collar disc. Money shot showing the left shoulder but unfortunately no shoulder patch.
