Bugme Posted October 3, 2012 Share #2 Posted October 3, 2012 It's sad how few soldiers actually did this as displayed. Didn't they know that we'd be collecting their stuff nearly 70 years later?

gwb123 Posted October 4, 2012 Share #4 Posted October 4, 2012 That is a very strange looking helmet! I like the marking on the lower left that says this was printed by the Western Defense Command, Presidio.

RustyCanteen Posted October 7, 2012 Share #7 Posted October 7, 2012 It's sad how few soldiers actually did this as displayed. Didn't they know that we'd be collecting their stuff nearly 70 years later? I would like to how how they passed inspection, since it is clearly said that everything was supposed to be marked. Or the "by the book" manual was tossed into the muddy ditch of a road in France in 1944, likewise tossed onto a coral beach somewhere on a Pacific island in 1943.
