Air Force One

Hi, Pictured below are several styles of the cigarette packs given to guests aboard Air Force One. The gold plastic pack is circa 1969 and is from President Nixon's "The Spirit of '76". The white plastic pack is also from the Nixon years; this design replaced the gold. The Maryland pack has the early gold presidential seal, and was slipped inside the cellophane. President Kennedy gave away L&M Cigarettes with this gold presidential seal insert card. The last pack is a 100mm flip top box from President Reagan's first administration.

Best wishes, Jim

PS, There are also Air Force One matchbooks and Air Force Two cigarettes and matches.

The gold plastic pack was also used by President Johnson as well as the cards. Pan-Am melmac plates and travel bags was also standard issue on AF 1 and AF 2 during his adminstration. Any body serve in the SAM FOX squadron?
