manayunkman Posted September 20, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2012 I would go to this one community yard sale every year. Some nice stuff came out of there. I was there that I met the Ranck sisters. They were the first identical twins to join the Marines from Pennsylvania. As an interesting side note: they lived right across the street from the officer who was in charge of the radar station Dec. 7th, 1941. Only the one sister had anything. They were both Marine musicians.

manayunkman Posted September 20, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted September 20, 2012 This is a cover for the front of her musician's leather pouch. She kept the extra parts for her saxaphone in it. Anyone have a photo of one of these in use ??

cutiger83 Posted September 20, 2012 Share #15 Posted September 20, 2012 Fantastic grouping! You have been showing some great stuff! I looked in my book but didn't see any reference to a musical bag. I could be wrong but I imagine it is a rare item that is hard to find in use. Do you think it could be a custom made piece? Is there a tag in it? .....Kat
