For folks in the 50's and 60's, this was deadly serious business. The effects of Nuclear Weapons. 1964 dated. This one is updated. Very interesting, lost of photos and information. If you want to know what a hydrogen bomb does, find one of these. Just tons of good information is inside, plus lots of good photos. Well worth finding. Dated from the 1950's, good medical information. Interestingly, all of these books were available from the US Gov't printing office for a few dollars. Lots of health and radiation info in this one. This one is for a Civil Defense course, dated from the early 1960's. Citizens Handbook on Nuclear Attack. This one dates from the end of the Civil Defense era, the 1970's Survival Under Atomic Attack. Early 1960's. A graphic example of the above, on sale for 10 cents. Lists what you'd want to do (Rescue, medical, recovery, etc) in a Nuke attack, standard address and contact information, etc. This one is from Alexandria, Virginia. Air Raid instructions (CONELRAD) card for carrying in the wallet. From the late 1950's early Cuban Crisis era. This one came with the Alexandria, Va items. Fallout protection. From the mid 1960's.
