Looking for 27th Infantry Division information

My uncle, now deceased, was in an I&R platoon of the 27th Infantry Division in WWII. Since each regiment only had one such platoon I thought I might try here to see if anyone has access to rosters that might help me find which regiment he was in. He told me once about 20 years ago but my memory now is not so sure, I think it was the 165th. The other choices are the 105th and the 106th.

 

I have tried several times with the records center to obtain information but with his last name starting with K his records were among those destroyed in the fire.
