Homefrontguy Posted February 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 7, 2008 I saw an news article about a 7 year old who wanted to join the navy with his toy helmet and bug spray (see postings under Kids Helmet). I think these articles are fascinating examples of wartime thinking. Here is an article that appeared in a high school newspaper in 1943 that we would never see today.
