DSchlagan Posted November 17, 2012 Share #84 Posted November 17, 2012 Thanks RC - 24/7 no matter what the weather. During Hurricane Katrina, I recall that the assigned Honor Guard of "The Tomb", were asked if they wished to temporarily Stand-Down, during the ravages of such weather conditions. A resounding "Hell-No", was response, from those on Duty Roster. Thanks again, for your most representative artwork. It IS appreciated! Kind Regards, Don. RCleary171 Posted November 17, 2012 Author Share #85 Posted November 17, 2012 Here is a sketch of a WWII soldier - I tried to get more of him into the picture but once the face was completed I didn't even have room for the hands.
RCleary171 Posted November 17, 2012 Author Share #86 Posted November 17, 2012 Last year I tried drawing cartoons (which lead me to my current interest in sketching and watercolors). These are ink sketches (with coloring done online via MS Paintbrush). Needless to say I was going for the laughs and not trying to win any art awards. But the exercise was fun and I hope these novice attempts at humor are enjoyed.
