crayj Posted August 14, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2012 I really liked T72B’s post “Well Used MICH”, I did not want to hijack his post, so I started another to show my own. You are all welcome to add your used “Compos” to this thread, the more the better, I’d love to see them. Thx Chris

Nkomo Posted August 15, 2012 Share #9 Posted August 15, 2012 I have always loved painted MICH's and ACH's. Here is one of my favorite painted lids. It is an RBR F6 combat helmet bought directly from the 3rd SFG veteran. This one has a 1999 manufacture date.

Nkomo Posted August 15, 2012 Share #13 Posted August 15, 2012 Here is another one of my favorite painted ACH's. This is an early CGF Gallett used by a soldier in 5th SFG in Afghanistan. This one is heavily used and has a burnt house smell to the inside.

Nkomo Posted August 15, 2012 Share #18 Posted August 15, 2012 Question, what is screw used for that is located in the crown of your ACH ? Thx Chris Chris, No one knows for sure, as this has been discussed in another thread. However, general concensus is that it is for a NVG strap. crayj Posted August 15, 2012 Author Share #23 Posted August 15, 2012 Another of my “worn” collection, an MSA that belonged to Staff Sgt. Tells. I’m pretty sure he was in the Medical Corps and part of the Veterinary service.
