Am I the only one left scratching my head that the Army went from ERDL to M81 Woodland to ACU, and now to OCP (aka Mulitcam), which to me looks like brown dominant faded out ERDL?

I assume that the Digitized (ACU) phase we went through (which spilled over to the other branches with ABU and NWU) was just Camo Envy in response to the USMC MARPAT...

Although I have never served and had to depend on camo for anything, I like ERDL the best...

So what's YOUR favorite Camo?

MSGT William Gould, 8th Weather Squadron, USAAF WWII
MAJ Abner J. Barnett, 329th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Division, USA Medical Corps WWI, WWII
T 5 A. Curtis Dufield, 147th Armored Signal Company, 7th Armored Division WWII

CAPT Thomas F. Hooper, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, WWII
"And then we all got invited to World War II and everybody's life changed." (Jean Kelly Barnett Gould 1922-2009 (My mom))

I must be a retro of some sort, but I really liked my plain ole AF fatigues. The only thing I was trying to camo against was the line chief, I guess.

[p.s. It didn't work. He found me every time!]

I am very partial to the 3-Color DCU, but the Mirage experimental camouflage has my vote.

Support our troops...abandoning the War on Terror is not an affordable luxury.

I'm so old, I still call W.W.II U.S. militaria "war surplus".
