Need ID on a pocket patch

Thats a cool patch. I haven't seen one like that but I have seen the metal badges that look exactly like that. I have one from my father and it was pinned in the exact place on the pocket of his TWs

Actually, I believe it is the Connecticut State Guard, not National Guard.

The initial ID was correct. This long obsolete pocket patch is for the Connecticut National Guard and comes is several "styles." There is a subdued version that is black embroidered on an OD twill rectangle with black ME, and one - explained as "experimental" that was made of Tyvek intended to be ironed on a uniform. Those were very short lived. And, for the truly immersed in variations, the one initially illustrated come in both light yellow and dark gold variants.
