VolunteerArmoury Posted August 6, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2012 Does anyone have recommendations on replacing the waist band for a "Tanker Jacket" that has had the waist & cuffs completely removed?
Jeeper704 Posted August 6, 2012 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2012 Sometimes these parts appear on eBay. You might want to check there. Erwin

Bellumbill Posted August 12, 2012 Share #4 Posted August 12, 2012 Does anyone have recommendations on replacing the waist band for a "Tanker Jacket" that has had the waist & cuffs completely removed? Chad - I assume that you are talking about an original, WWII jacket? If so, I would recommend ebay - As the other post mentions original cuffs, collars, and waistbands show up from time to time. How to tell 100% if they are original, hard to, just kinda have to know what to look for. I would stay away from ATF's replacement cuffs only because, unlike originals, they are not tubular knit - they have a seam, which won't look correct. IF you are going for repro cuffs you might want to try WWII Impressions as his new cuffs ARE tubular knit. Don't know if he markets them on his site, you may just want to drop him an email. Best of luck! Bill K.
