Jack's Son Posted August 5, 2012 Share #2 Posted August 5, 2012 The pin and catch look British.
USAFnav Posted August 6, 2012 Share #3 Posted August 6, 2012 The pin and catch look British. Nice pin! The catch actually looks American to me, but I'd hate to contradict Jack's Son! :w00t: Also, the term "Sterling" (as applied to precious metal) is more American, I think, than British. Orgone Posted August 6, 2012 Share #7 Posted August 6, 2012 The "C" Catch and pin are definitely an American type. The usual British made pins have a triangular bend on the pin hinge. British sterling silver jewelry usually is marked .925 and has hallmarks, but not always.
