tigerfan Posted August 2, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2012 I believe this is a short lived USMC patch that showed rank and existed in the 1920's. I used to know this one but don't remember and I can't find my reference. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

craig_pickrall Posted August 3, 2012 Share #5 Posted August 3, 2012 Do any of you have copies suitable for posting here that shows the various USMC ranks from WW1 through WW2? If so could you please post it in the Ranks and Rates Section for on-going reference? Thanks for any help with this. I know they went through a lot of change and there were some nice looking chevron sets.
Lee Ragan Posted August 3, 2012 Share #6 Posted August 3, 2012 The crossed rifles USMC PFC rank insignia was used from 1917-1922. In 1922, the single chevron was adopted for the PFC rank.
