WWII Dog tag Edd Flippo 99th ID with plastic cord

Today there arrived a nice dog tag set.

It are the tags of Edd Flippo, 38097935 , Member of AT Company, 395th Infantry Regiment, 99th Infantry Division.

He died in 1970.

 

It's a lovely addition to my collection.

Very nice, Question, how is the plastic cord holding up all these years, is it still soft and malleable ? or do you feel it is hard and will crack if not handled carefully ?

@Patches: Thnx! The plqstic cord is still in good condition, you can still bent it without breaking. But it is stuck in this same form. I think It has been laying in the sun and was heated a bit, and thats prabably the reason zhy it is stuck in this form.

 

@Glenn, thanks! It is indeed a nice addition. Yesterday I recieved something you would certainlly like, a eroor greenback ^_^ . I will post it later.
