Bugme Posted August 2, 2014 Author Share #26 Posted August 2, 2014 Thanks Dave, much appreciated. I have however been refocusing my collection and have stopped going after uniforms(They take up a ton of space on a mannequin) and have pointed my collection into the steel side(helmets) of the 84th ID. 1936farmall Posted September 14, 2014 Share #27 Posted September 14, 2014 My grandfather served in the 84th during WW2. Great to see your 84th helmets on here
Bugme Posted August 12, 2016 Author Share #28 Posted August 12, 2016 Recently acquired from an estate, I just added this ID'd 334th IR, 84th ID fixed loop diary helmet recently. Belonging to Lt. Herbert D. Black Jr. from Iva, South Carolina, he is listed as a platoon leader and Bronze Star awardee in the end of war 84th roster. I do wish that Black had not put shellac on it but, I guess it is all part of the charm.

Bugme Posted August 12, 2016 Author Share #31 Posted August 12, 2016 Wow I have not seen this collection Scott. Amazing! Great stuff! Btw have you found me a pot for my beautiful 97th liner I got from you at the SOS? Thanks. Ronnie Thanks Ronnie! I know these are not as exciting as a 501st PIR but they are probably more rare. Nothing yet on a 97th pot for you but, I'll be at a show this weekend, who knows what might show up.
