One day I was getting ready to go the market and my little girl comes up to me and gives me a big hug tells me she loves me.

It melted my heart.

At the market an elderly gentleman is near me.

He says " Are you from New York ? "

" How did you know I lived in New York ? "

" You have an I LOVE NY sticker on your back"

When my little girl was melting my heart she actually was putting that sticker on me.

We talked a bit and found out he was a paratrooper.

He took me to his house and this is what I found.

Here is trooper in better days before a full artillery jump.

The vet told me that there was a guy in the unit who used to ride the artillery pallet down to the ground.

By the time the rest of the team was hitting the ground the first guy was handing them their gear.

The center paratrooper is wearing a 503 patch and has an oval behind his wing.

Mr Thomas told me that the gun crews would compete to be first to have their gun set up after a jump.

One of the guys in his crew would get drunk and jump with the gun pallet so he would be on the ground before anyone.

Crazy!!

Hello,

Is there any way to know more about the route of the 467th PFAB. Also, is there any roster available ?

thanks,

Max

Mr. M,

Brand new to the forum.  Can I please reach out to you?  If so, how do I?  TD

Hello,

hopefully yes someone would have more info. It's crazy how nothing you can find. Based on your post I assume they have been on the PTO at some point but I am not even sure of that

Thanks

Max
