jimbo Posted July 21, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 21, 2012 Picked this party suit up several years ago. It belonged to a USAF Major Navigator from the 360th TEWS. All patches are direct embroidered, with the exception of two patches (Vietnam Antique Airlines and Snoopy with the Avaitor Headgear). Suit was made by Royal Tailors NKP. gwb123 Posted July 22, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 22, 2012 Very nice to find with all of the patches still attached. Thanks for sharing. I once traded letters with a pilot who flew with that unit in an EC-47. He said the most dangerous part was landing and take off... when they descended altitude they would come within small arms range. Otherwise, they flew nice and high and cruised about looking for enemy radio signals.
nguoi tien su Posted July 22, 2012 Share #3 Posted July 22, 2012 Really neat! Since the guy was a nav, he may have been the one in charge of locating the enemy on the ground. Two interesting CHECO reports have been written about ARDF.
