"Paratus Ferire" emblem ID................

If memory serves me someone of the forum posted a color photo of a unit patch (triangle shaped,point downward) and it had a motto of "Paratus Ferire" on it , they were looking for the "ID" of this emblem.

 

I found out it is a Navy one, CVG-142 .

Its a Navy Carrier Air Group 12 patch mid-end fiftys!

Yeah , the site I found it on had it listed as the CVG-142 , I too thought that 3 digit number was "questionable" , but later era emblems aren't really my area, i am more into the WW2 era types.

Anyway at least we have it possitively ID'd now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
