For many years I stayed away from the collecting community and spent my time tracking veterans down. I got obsessed with vet finds and their stories. This group is a result of that search. I at one time had groupings from over 1000 vets and those were things I kept. I had sold an even greater amount. One thing that helped big time was the fact that I liquidated estates. Another was that I was not afraid to knock on a door or approach a complete stranger. Ask and you shall receive. So endeth the lesson. Do you remember that 193rd Special Ops. group I showed you with all the patches and flying jackets ? It came from a Tom Lowe. I kept these duplicates. This is the son of John Lowe.
