Father's Day was great as the daughter & granddaugther were here from Oklahoma. The girls surprised the old man with a great gift. A World War One USMC discharge for the 1st Marine Aviation Force. The daughter found this in western Oklahoma when traveling. What great kids and all I wanted was a Tie ! Blue Skies Mark

The USMC aviation forces back in the states and over in France lost a lot of Marines to the Spanish influenza pandemic as did many units but the Aviation forces were particulary hit hard.
