New WW1 EGA and Pre-WW1 USMC stripes

Recommended Posts

The stripes are really nice pre WW1 uniform stripes. The EGA is a hat device and is what is commonly referred to as a "Droop Wing EGA," I am assuming it is an EM type. Nice finds and definitely worth getting up early for!

What type EGA is this?

Nice "salty" example of the "issue" right collar emblem for the Service Greens. This were the issue emblem for enlisted Marine starting in 1930 and worn into WW2. The design was replaced in 37, nonetheless some the old China Marines continued to use them providing they were serviceable.
