Sabrejet Posted June 11, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 11, 2012 The B-26 was widely used for tactical bombing missions ahead of D-Day. "Dinah Might" was a famous example of the type. The markings have been replicated on a preserved B-26 at the Utah Beach Museum. She's housed in her new "hangar" and is beautifully presented. lewis505 Posted June 18, 2012 Share #13 Posted June 18, 2012 That's awesome! Didn't know that there was one in Europe - only one's I've ever seen is the one at the AF Museum at Wright-Patterson, and "Flak Bait" at the Air & Space Museum
