Right he seems to have only one badge above the U.S. ARMY tape while he has two on the flap. Like you we seen lots of Os and Senior EMs with multiple sewn on badges, our focus being the late 60s into the very early 80s, a plethora of badges, like the new 1969 Pathfinder badge, the new 1974 Air Assault badge etc etc.

It almost looks like he has a patch/badge over this name tape as well...but not clear.
