emaier3 Posted January 16, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 16, 2008 All, I recently purchased the Purple Heart of Lt. James A. Cravens and I am trying to find a photograph of him and/or his aircraft. Can anyone be of help? He was a member of the 57th Fighter Group, 65th Fighter Squadron and was killed in action on 27 Dec. 1944 in Italy when his aircraft crashed on takeoff.
