I sold my 1st Cav uniform collection about 12 years ago. I had some awesome stuff in it. Send me a PM and I'll send you some pics of some old 1st Cav stuff I would trade/sell. It's time to unload and get it to some one younger. I can't take this stuff with me where I'm going. :D Danny

Hello everyone. I recently decided to pull out all of my uniforms and inventory all the pieces in my collection. As I was doing so I decided to put all of my 1st Cav items together for a quick layout. Let me know if anyone wants closeups.

Do you have any 302nd Recon Troop uniforms or items?

The uniforms are long gone now. I have a lot of paper/photos, but they are spoken for now. The other stuff I'm keeping from my two tours with the 1st Cav. And my insignia collection will go once I find the right buyer. Danny

An Occupation handkerchief with an Occupation Christmas card and a Vietnam Christmas card.

I have the 1967 version of the Cav Christmas card in my little collection. Sent it home to my girlfriend who became my wife the following year. Never did get the stetson though.

That's sounds like an awesome piece of personal history. I'd love to see what you have from your time in service.

First up is a grouping to a Vietnam Cav Transportation Specialist John Shabo. I have no way of knowing hether not the CIB was self awarded or on his records but it is an interesting variation along with the theatre made ribbons.
