Keep an eye on the for sale section if you are interested in this group

No interesting story behind the acquisition of this group. Came from a hotel buy I did back in the mid 90's.

Thomas M. Humphrey served on the Mexican boarder with Co. C of the 106th regiment and then served in Europe. There are 3 bars on his Victory medal. His dog tag is marked 23 D NY INF. which is

part of the 106th.

Son James E. Humphrey was a Corporal in 1920 in the 14th NY Regiment. He later went on to serve in the 23rd of the 106th Regiment just like his dad.

Before the beginning of WW2 he was an artillery officer in the 80th Infantry Division 315th Art. and went to Europe with them in 1944. He was wounded in action September 21, 1944.

If anyone has anything to ad please do.

The 100% duty medal is his as well as the 23rd Diegs & Clust medal dated 1927 for the 220 yard dash.

The B.B. & B. medal was won at Lafayette College for an R.O.T.C. competition in 1924. His name is engraved on the back.

These were also in the group. Perhaps they were the fathers but I don't know if he was in that early. The small ones are marked P.S.A.L. Sharpshooter. Anyone know anything about them ?? They are

made by D & C and marked sterling. Anyone know what the larger ones are for ??

The group also includes documents, over 85 photos and maps of Europe. Here is his NY State promotion to Corporal in 1920.
