Garandy Posted May 14, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 14, 2012 I showed this valise before..going by vetarans name, I discovered these facts. I was able to locate surviving family members. At first the family was concerned from a strangers call about a piece of luggage they never knew existed! Andrew never mentioned it, nor did he bring it home after WW2! After talking by phone to Andrew T Pucaliks wife, I got a call from his daughter who supplied this info to me. Indeed, they were amazed with the pics..it was definately Andrew's valise! He was with HQ Co. He was supposed to land on June 6th 1944, but due to kidney stones, he landed D+4..June 10th 1944, part of 29th Division, then back to 30th in a few days. As LT..
