paul_bish Posted April 18, 2012 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2012 http://www.modernforces.com/uniform_dodge37.htm Very pleased to announce a new addition to our team, a 1953 Dodge M37. Its currently marked as a USMC vehicle but was originally a USAF vehicle based on a US Airforce base in the UK, its only done 28,000 miles of easy riving round a base so its in very good condition. It we be remarked as a 5th SFGA vehicle to match our group and display at the shows this year. Hope you like it!

Third Herd Posted April 18, 2012 Share #3 Posted April 18, 2012 I have liked the M-37 since I taught myself to drive a stick shift on one. I was pulling guard duty and had one to drive to check another area. I was the only person out there and by the time the guard duty was over I knew how to drive a stick. paul_bish Posted April 20, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted April 20, 2012 Thanks for the feedback, it is rare in the UK. I think about 10-12 of them. We will aslo be adding a Minigun as per the vehicle described in the book Project Omega: Eye of The Beast by James E. Acre
Carter Posted April 20, 2012 Share #6 Posted April 20, 2012 Good looking truck Paul. It has the USMC front and rear lift features, "paper clips" welded to the front bumper and special lift brackets at the back which were not used by the US Army, just the Marines. I have two of the army versions, both which lack what your truck displays. The G741 website http://www.g741.org/PHPBB/ has a dedicated following of M37 folks who would be very intrested in your new Dodge, post a couple of shots when you have a chance and also please register it here: http://www.g741.org/m37registry/index.php they are trying to keep a log of what trucks are in the hands of collectors. Thanks, Carter

2/14 Marine Posted May 22, 2012 Share #9 Posted May 22, 2012 That's a nice M37. I like the Marine markings but I am biased. Semper Fi Javier
