VALERY Posted January 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2008 Bonjour, I found few years ago this atypical souvenir awarded to Lcl J.F. BURKE by his officers when he was the 4/11 CO. Lcl J.F. BURKEgave strict orders against any display of fireworks, shooting or anys such action on the New year eve. At midnight, a number of flares were seen about his HQ compound "Hill34 Post of the Corps".
