Greg Robinson Posted January 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2008 I just got these for $10. Mint unissued, made in the mustard tan canvas of early WW2 Marine gear. Inkstamped "DQP 1942-1943" indicating mfg by the USMC Supply Depot in Phila PA and have a white Depot label dated Jan 1942. Made in the pre/early war pattern with bright brass hardware. Greg Robinson Posted January 7, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted January 7, 2008 Very nice - from ebay? Yeah....it was one of those listings you see at the bottom of the page when you do an ebay search. It was a "buy it now" only listing and the seller doesn't know squat about militaria....the kind I love to deal with. Greg

Salvage Sailor Posted May 26, 2020 Share #5 Posted May 26, 2020 Recently picked up a pair of these USMC pre-war leggings in Hawaii, also in great condition, marked DQP 1939-
louie Posted May 31, 2020 Share #6 Posted May 31, 2020 When I was a kid, late fifties, early sixties you could find these by the bundle at the local Army Navy stores. They cost a dollar, and I remember buying one. They had them forever since almost nobody but a weird kid like me bought them.
