Are these owned by individuals? ...Kat . Hi kat, basically I believe that they are all privately owned, having said that I know that a number of the vehicles are owned by the owners of transport companies, so they have the warehousing / space, facilities / mechanics to maintain and keep these larger vehicles on the road. . Hi Ron, Thanks for all the images, yes the aerial shots are very familiar, but much more difficult to get matching images. Always makes me wonder the reason when vehicles are going in opposite directions to one-another, the track looks like it has a quad-50's mount in the rear. Amazing the farmer stood in the middle of the junction, wonder how many vehicles of different nationalities he has seen passing by there. Norman D. Salvage Sailor Posted July 21, 2022 Share #21271 Posted July 21, 2022 I believe that this is a posed photograph. Hi Salvage Sailor and Johan, just came on-line before heading to bed and see that you had beaten me to the decision that this wasn't a WWII colourised image. I had passed my suspicions onto several friends off-forum, personally the shoes, the denims, the belt and the shirt pocket flaps put me off believing it was genuine. Thanks Salvage for the detail on the Jack, and also Johan for the mention of Sarafan . . . . . . . . Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, July 23 2022. ...
