2ndInf.Div. Posted April 2, 2012 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2012 I got this at a flea market for $5, since it has a 37th patch on it, and the unit was deactivated in 1945, does anyone know what I got here? The shirt is dated 1958.

patches Posted April 2, 2012 Share #5 Posted April 2, 2012 Ohio National Guard my friend, reactivated again in the Ohio National Guard in 1946. The large Specialist 5th Class ranks on the long sleeve Khaki shirt indicate a shirt worn from 1958 to around the mid to end of 1965, after this the Army to include Reserve componates switched to the short sleeve shits where Shoulder patches were prohibted from being worn. It was redesignated for the 16th Engineer Brigade on 9 July 1968. It was cancelled on 4 December 1969.
