Jim Baker Posted January 3, 2008 #1 Posted January 3, 2008 Enjoy...... http://www.historynet.com/magazines/milita...y/12833262.html
teufelhunde.ret Posted January 3, 2008 #2 Posted January 3, 2008 An excellent read, well written, and a good primer for those whom are not familiar with the exploits of two the Corps most widely known, respected and highly decorated combat veterans.
DevilDan1900 Posted January 3, 2008 #3 Posted January 3, 2008 I definately second that! Any articles about these two American heroes, outside of the Marine Corp, are few and far between, so I am quite pleased that someone took the initiative to recognize them. Some of the information is a bit off, but definately a well thought out and interesting piece. I have been working on my own Dan Daly biography for about 4 years now, so I can attest that there is much, much more to the man than is included there, but it is still always nice to see his name in print in any capacity.

Your dead on target, his life & career in the Corps was greatly overshadowed by more illustrious figures of the Corps such as Butler and of course the events shaping the world & Corps we know today. Good luck with your biography, hope to see it soon
