USMC Jump Wings Question

I have wondered about these wings because they appear to be unplated and they almost have a copper look to them. The wings are die struck. Has anybody seen any like these before? I am guessing that they are post WW II.

Thanks, Gen. Lucas

I don't believe these are USMC paratrooper wings. My guess is that they are a basic paratrooper wing for a South American country like Honduras or Colombia. I've seen these for sale on ebay but I can't remember how they were advertised for sale.

I don't think they are US , either. I looked at mine and the area behind the parachute is not filled in like those and the back is relatively smooth, and the pins are placed further apart-I have had mine since the early '70's...

I have a pair of wings exactly like these. I did some researches (helped by the friends of this Forum) and I found out they are from Honduras.

First Honduras Paratroopers were trained by US Instructors and they received US insignias; since then Honduras jump wings are made with the same design as US ones.

Hope someone is still watching this old thread.

Picked these up at the flea market today.

They appear to be lead(?) with gold leaf and a weird type of pin set up.

USMC para wings?

Any help to ID will be greatly appreciated.

Not marine Corp or US made, these are poorly cast. Likely from the Middle East

PS-I also have a pair of those copper USMC-ish wings.

Chute is hollow.

Are these also early US made Honduran wings?

Thank you.

Very poorly cast and the gold leaf is starting to fall off.

Thank you for your reply.
