Firstsonsofthenation Posted March 15, 2012 Share #1 Posted March 15, 2012 Can anyone advise on the authenticity of backwards facing 1st ID patches meant to be worn on the right shoulder as the combat patch? I have some in desert tan with a backwards 1. Any links or direction is appreciated. Thanks!
atb Posted March 15, 2012 Share #2 Posted March 15, 2012 I think the appearance of the ridiculous backwards "1" 1st ID SSI was the cause of the Department of the Army's crackdown on the unauthorized reversed SSI being worn by the 1st Cav Div and others.
