I agree with 17th.....I normally don't visit this section much, but the 325th caught my attention......good looking group! And the then and now pictures are fantastic. Good representation of a GREAT unit. Well done.

Very nice shots.

If your recon jeep has been fitted out with the proper radio and so forth in the interior, I would love to see pictures.

What have you guys used for the armoured plateing, can you send us some pics on how it is fixed to your jeep.

Great report and pics guys, were you on the march or doing your own thing.

Kind Regards

Armed 2 tha Teeth

The 1919a6 looks really good but there are a few things that should be modified:

- Remove the safety bar. I have never seen a picture of a 1919a6 with one.

- Try to pick up a set of early 'bottom adjusting' bipod legs. The top adjusting legs show up in use but the 1919a6 in the 325th GIR picture you posted has the bottom adjusting legs.

- It is hard to tell but it looks like you have the later booster clip.

Thanks for the comments...

To reply to you guys:

@ J_Andrews: we are working on that.. :-)

@ FAAA: well it's 130kg of 5mm Metal plating (heavy stuff to put) it fixed in the back next to the seats with bolts and screws

@ Armed 2 tha Teet: well i did the 1919A6 for the picture, finding the right bipod and and the right look here in Europe is nearly impossible and I left the safety bar based on a testimony of a veteran that said he had a 1919A6 with that (502 Machine gunner). but as you said there are no picture with the that bar...

Thank you guys your comments really help us a lot.. :-)
