Included in "American Women At War in World War II, Vol. I" is a photocopy of "American Women at War" by Mary Steele Ross. This was a wartime (1943) publication that gave a brief summary of the different organization that women could join to support the war. It also includes a brief description of their uniforms and duties. Below is the table of contents. If you are just learning about women's uniforms (as I am), I highly recommend this book from N.H.C.S. (George Petersen).
