I got these in a WWII-Korean war vet grouping. Unfortunately, I don't know Navy patches well. How would you wear these? If possible, can anyone speculate the year and country these were made in?

Thanks for any help.

Sean

Hello, The first patch is for the USS Enterprise CVAN/CVN-65 the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier. The Enterprise was commissioned in 1961. This patch is from after she was redesignated CVN-65 in the mid 70's. I'd say late 70's early 80's and Philippine made. The other two patches are generic US made sweetheart patches. These could be from the 40's-50's.

The last two are still available today in the exchange. They were all worn on the old Navy Dungaree/Working/ Utility Jacket. Note the First Class Mess has paint on it. By the way, the "First Class Mess" is an organization aboard ships made up of the First Class Petty Officers. On most ships it is a space where the PO 1s eat and relax away from the "Kids".
