TomcatPC Posted December 22, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2011 Hello I have this field dressing and pouch. The pouch has no readable date, could it be very late WWII?, my guess is this is Korean War era or maybe later in the 1950s? Is the dressing it's self in the correct era for a Korean War era field dressing pouch? The photo os not the best, s the Stock No. 2-017-435 on the pouch. I have a M-1945 Field and Cargo Pack with the correct shoulder straps, a 1950 dated pistol belt, 1945 dated E-Tool and Cover, and 1945 dated Canteen cover with 1944 dated canteen and 1951 dated cup. Little by little I'd like to put together a Korean War era webbing setup and just would like to know if this bandage is on the right path. doyler Posted December 22, 2011 Share #2 Posted December 22, 2011 I think it would be fine for a korea era display.Pretty common to see a lot of late WW2 dated items for korea.
