B24AT6 Posted December 22, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2011 In a local antique shop there is what looks like a wooden 37mm round, that I assumed was a dummy round. I don't have pictures, but the bottom which is brass, is marked with AM C CO, and a C in a rectangular shape. Well where the primer would be and on the top, which is also brass, I noticed there was a hole. When I looked in the hole I noticed rifling at about a .45 bore. I can't say exactly that it was 37mm or .45, I don't have any pictures and I haven't bought it, So I can't put it up to show you. I wish i had pictures, because it certainly resembles a 37 round, and I can't say exactly that it was a .45. But there was a larger bore barrel running through a wooden 37 type round, with a spot to place a rimmed cartridge. I really would like to know more about it before I bought it.
