hink441 Posted December 19, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 19, 2011 Picked up this pin the other day. A very sad little pin. I wish I knew who was B.M.H. Thanks for looking. Chris

GIKyle Posted December 19, 2011 Share #3 Posted December 19, 2011 Very nice- B.M.H is actually the initials of the wearer, NOT the Soldier, which makes it even harder to figure out. Still a nice piece though and you know it was actually issued and worn with solemn pride. Kyle

I just assumed they were the KIA's initials. Thanks again for the info!! Chris
GIKyle Posted December 20, 2011 Share #5 Posted December 20, 2011 No problem Chris. I did not know that either until I saw an engraved one as part of a KIA group and was able to match initials. Depending on where you got it, you may be able to go back and do a little detctive work on finding the Soldier's name. I bought a couple engraved pins out of an antique booth and was able to determine the guys name through other non-related items in the case. hink441 Posted December 21, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted December 21, 2011 This was an E-Bay purchase, and it came from Rome, NY. I don't think I will be able to find any info on this family. Lost to history.
