Charlie Flick Posted December 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted December 9, 2007 Very cool, Dave. I have always been interested in the NSD Oakland as it was the factory shipping destination for the Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolvers that were distributed from there to Naval and Marine units heading to the PTO. the Victory is a major collecting interest of mine. Thanks for the post. Charlie
disneydave Posted December 9, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted December 9, 2007 You're welcome Charlie. A friend of mine owns the original pencil art for the insignia and I own a matchbook cover featuring the design. I'll be posting both of these items in the near future.
