Navy Amphib Rockers

Despite being my primary collecting interest, my Amphib rockers currently are a small part of my overall collection. Some of thse have the most personal interest for me, as well. Nassau was my old ship and Wasp is one that I've also been aboard. Aside from being a rarer white version, the Tarawa is the first in class for the LHAs, which makes Nassau her sister ship. She also was part of our Task Force in the Gulf War. Detachments from Beachmaster Unit 2 and TACRON 22 were aboard my ship every time we deployed, including during the Gulf War. These patches are from an earlier era, but I'm still happy to have them in my collection.
