Bastogne, Nuts Street, 1951

Here is a photo taken at Bastogne in 1951. The Stuart tank turret looks like a kind of monument and the name of street seems to be not random as well. Does this place exist up to this time?

I came late to the post but I think it is at the "Gate of Trier," we see the "House Mathelin" in the background.

 

The turret is gone now.
