Very pivotal and sobering reminder. I was proud of my students today, most of who were well aware of what significance today held. This MSNBC video is a sad reminder of how important our job is to keep the significance of this date in the American conscience.

What a sad and strange day that will be for all of us who have never imagined that day would come.

That was very apparent when they read the roll call of recently deceased survivors in Bob's video. This time next year they'll sadly be even fewer in number.
