deddygetty Posted December 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2011 This Bible and Service Prayer Book were carried by my dad during WWII. Also pictured is the leather wallet they were carried in. Inside the wallet says, "Sincere wishes for your success on a history making mission for God and Country and victory with your safe return at an early date. FRIENDSHIP CLUB Trinity E. & R. Church". Does anyone know what "WNF" stands for? Thank you in advance for any help.
TenthA86 Posted December 4, 2011 Share #2 Posted December 4, 2011 The only "WNF" reference I can find in WWII-era church writings is several references to "Wednesday Night Fellowship". However this looks like a recipient's initials, not an organization name. Could it have been re-purposed?

Thank you for your response.
Bugme Posted December 5, 2011 Share #4 Posted December 5, 2011 Can't help you on the WNF but, this is a very cool reminder of your dad's service and his spiritual life!
